More About Dr. Nichols…

Dr. Rachel Nichols earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mercer University in 2025 and has completed an Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency at Mercer University. She previously earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biological Sciences and Exercise Physiology from Florida State University. Prior to attending Florida State, Rachel studied Oxford College of Emory University, where she competed as a collegiate soccer player.

Rachel is certified in dry needling and is pursuing board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Her clinical interests include the treatment of orthopedic injuries through both surgical and conservative management, movement analysis, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, and promoting lifelong health and wellness through individualized care.

Rachel serves as the Early Career Liaison for the Georgia Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and is an active member of the orthopadeic section of the APTA Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy.

Outside the clinic, Rachel enjoys spending her time with her family, including boyfriend, Parker, and their golden retriever, Micco. She is passionate about health, fitness, and helping others stay active, and enjoys training for half-marathons, marathons, and HYROX competitions.
